THURSDAY:

10:00 a.m. Funny encounters... Program of French animated short films (45 min.) Without dialogues. Recommended for grades 0-3.

A sensitive and colorful program of French animation that develops visual literacy and sensitively touches on topics relevant to children and the world. https://blon.lt/2023/feature/funny-encounters

11.00 "Yuku and the Himalayan Flower" (1 hour 05 minutes) Recommended for grades 1-4. A touching story about a brave mouse who is helped to overcome challenges by friendship, optimism and music. It is a musical and emotional story about values and courage. https://blon.lt/2023/feature/juku/

12.20 "Titina at the North Pole" and a meeting with animation director Marie-Laure Guiset! (1 hour 30 minutes) Recommended for grades 4-10.

Not only an exceptional educational film, but also an exceptional opportunity to meet the film's animation director, Belgian animator and animation teacher Marie-Laure Guisset. It is an insightful multi-layered animated historical account of the history of aviation, the pursuit of glory, triumphs and defeats. 10:00 a.m. "Nelly Jelly. My film" and a meeting with the director. Meinard Valkevičius Recommended for grades 1-4.

11.30 "The Crossing" N13 (1 hour 20 minutes) Recommended for grades 9-12. Sensitive experiences of migrants, when children are separated from their parents and forced to face the path of exile alone. They embark on a heroic journey, in which they will turn from children into teenagers: they will look for shelter, peace, hoping to meet their family again. https://blon.lt/2023/feature/crossing/
